.- TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE.
What´s technology?: Technology is the group of kwonledge, skills, and techniques that human use to satisfy needs and to solve problems.
Techhnology is the practical application of knowledge. Technology works like a system that involves turning natural items into useful products: eg.car, tin, clothes, etc. It´s the “know-how
Technology works like a system (Input-Process-Output and feedback) where natural items turn into manufactured products. Systems are developed to address a goal.
  • The INPUT are the resources availble to the system.
  • The OUTPUT are the products generated by this system.
  • The PROCESS is the way to get the goal.
  • The FEEDBACK is used to control this process, it is the signal or measure that says how well the goal is being achieved, or how well the process is working.

Technology and society work together: technology responds to society´s needs and helps societe to develop.

LEONARDO DA VINCI
Leonardo da Vinci was born in Vinci on April 15, 1452 and died in Amboise on May 2, 1519, at the age of 67.
As engineer and inventor, Leonardo developed ideas very advanced to his time, such as the helicopter, the car of combat, the submarine and the car. Few of his projects weren’t constructed because they were not realizable still in this time.
During most of his life, Leonardo was fascinated by the flight. A parachute and a wing produced numerous studies on the flight of the birds as well as planes of several flying devices, as a primitive helicopter named the "air screw ", a delta of bamboo. Of all of them, the majorities are considered to be unrealizable but the wing delta has been constructed and, after a few stabilizers adding him, has flown successfully. It is possible that Leonardo was thinking that the systems of flight similar to those of the bats were those that were presenting major potential. Also he invented the tunnel of aerodynamic wind for his experiments.
